LGBTQIA2S+ Centered Therapy for Depression

When you start therapy here, your therapist already has experience working with people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, pansexual, queer, trans, non-binary, Two-Spirit, or still figuring it out.

If you are Black, Indigenous, brown, or another person of color, you’re covered too. Your therapist may not share your exact background. But our whole team trains continually in anti-racist, anti-oppressive care, and we hand-picked that training ourselves.

If you are neurodivergent, you already know your brain is one of a kind. We have many ways to make therapy fit how you actually think and feel. And there’s a good chance your therapist is neurodivergent too.

Depression

Depression is something more. It’s a heaviness that settles in and stays. It drains your energy, your interest, and your sense of hope, often for no reason you can point to. For some, it can make an ordinary day feel like moving through wet cement.

If that’s where you are, it’s not weakness, and it’s not something you can just snap out of.

You’re also far from alone. Depression is one of the most common mental health conditions in the country. Last year, more than 21 million US adults lived through a major depressive episode.
